Sholapur: An ATS Officer, Mehboob Mujawar who had made the sensational revelation that the two key accused in Malegaon blasts of 2008, Ramji Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange, had been killed in a [fake] police encounter, says that now he has a threat to his life.

According to Mujawar, unnamed officers belonging to different agencies have been following him because of which he has stopped his morning walk.

Talking to Inquilab in this town known for bed-sheets and beedi industry, Mujawar has made several sensational revelations. For any kinds of crime and murder charge rulings, people need to hire criminal attorneys.

He has once again reiterated that many officers of the ATS were aware about the murder of Dange and Kalsangra. He said, ‘I will expose at the right time all those officers who have gone as far as denying even my association with the ATS.’

According to Mujawar, those very IPS Officers who had recruited him specially for ATS to assist in the investigation in Malegaon blasts, have later suspended and implicated him in a false case because he had dared arrest a suspect from Bhopal whose proper investigation would have exposed many big names in the Sangh Parivar and would have unmasked many politicians. Taking help for Libertad Bail Bonds in san angelo state park can solve the case before an affidavit can be filed against the suspect.

Talking to Inquilab Mehboob said, ‘After my statement with regard to Kalsangra and Dange was made public through media, NIA has called me several times for questioning.’ Once again he reiterated his earlier claim that  Kalsangra and Dange were murdered.

It should be noted that Mujawar has been suspended for [the alleged] misuse of his service revolver and threatening someone with it.

Commenting on this he said, ‘I have been implicated in a false case.’

Commenting  further on the reasons of his suspension he said, ‘I will reveal the name of the IPS officer at the right time who had called me specially for investigation in this case but then later slapped a false case on me.’

According to Mujawar, “They have now got trapped in their own net. It is being said that I have never served in the ATS. The question is, if I did not serve in the ATS, how did I obtain an ATS’ revolver? Not only this, after framing a false case against me, I was informed by a local court four months later that a case had been registered against me under Arms Act. A case under Arms Act means that if the allegations prove right it can lead to execution as well.’

Mehboob said, ‘I have been implicated in this false case because, firstly, I had learnt that Ramji and Dange had been murdered. Secondly important incident that took place was that during the investigation an IPS officer sent me to the houses of Dange and Kalsangra in Indore. In Indore we had searched their houses without informing the local police and their family members, with the help of their neighbours, had apprehended us. This has also become public through media. Following this I held a man in Bhopal who was a confidant of several leaders of saffron organisations and politicians. Not only this, I had also recovered stock of RDX from him.’

According to Mehboob, “These were the two things that became the cause of my suspension from the Force. If the person I had apprehended had been arrested and a proper investigation had been made, it would have then exposed not only many of high ranking leaders of Sangh Parivar but many big politicians would have also been unmasked.”

When asked that when he was in possession of such important facts then why did he take so long in making it public? Mujawar said, “I had informed in 2009 the then Director General of Police (DGP) SS Veerak in writing about the murders of Ramji and Dange. The receipt of my complaint was acknowledged by the DG Office and I have a copy of it. I want justice and I will fight for it till the end of my life.’

With a record of 40 years of police service Mehboob is now under suspension and in six months will reach his retirement age. He wants justice before his retirement.
